About & Method
Neyou means a new you. This is how you become one.
Every automatic reaction is a small prison, a response that fires before you've had time to think, before you've had a choice. Neyou is about finding the gap between the trigger and the reaction, and using it. Every time you choose your response instead of repeating it, you take responsibility for who you're becoming. That's what freedom actually is: not a fixed feeling, but a choice you get to make again and again, until it changes you.
This is coaching-based self-awareness work. It is not therapy, diagnosis, or clinical treatment — and it's not a substitute for professional mental health support.
Every pattern, even ones that go against what you believe or want, formed to meet a real need. The work is noticing an outdated bodyguard, not fixing a flaw.
Notice
The body registers stress before the mind does. Notice the tension, the flood, the gap between what you want and what you have, and the voice narrating it — including which part of you is actually running this moment, and who isn't getting enough room in your life.
Understand
Every pattern formed to meet a real need. Trace the automatic response back to where it came from — the childhood-formed bodyguard still standing at a door that closed long ago — and understand what it was protecting.
Free
The pause between a trigger and a reaction is where choice lives. Ground with the 5-5-5 breath, let the 90-second wave pass, and step into the gap — responding freely instead of automatically.
Why I Built This
I didn't build Neyou from theory. I built it from my own experience with social anxiety, and a habit I had for years of making my world smaller to avoid discomfort: fewer plans, smaller rooms, safer choices, quieter versions of myself.
What actually changed things wasn't forcing myself to be different overnight. It was learning to ask better questions in the hard moments, and sitting with the sensations I used to run from instead of avoiding them. That process, slow and uncomfortable as it was, is what let me grow past the size I'd shrunk myself into.
Every tool here comes from that same process. I'm not teaching you something I read. I'm sharing what actually worked for me.
This is how you become new: more aware, more in control, more free. Not by erasing who you've been, but by choosing, on purpose, who you become next.
